We are afraid of giving up control of our wedding if we book a wedding planner - should we still book a consultation with you?

This is exactly when it is even more important that you book a consultation. The consultation is also there to allay your worries, fears and classic prejudices. To answer this in advance: A wedding planner is there to support you and „guide“ you through the planning and the wedding day and not to set the tone, determine everything and then in the end realize the wedding as the planner imagines it and not the wedding couple. You alone ALWAYS make the final decisions - as the planner, I really support you on the (easiest) way to get there.

How many planning meetings do we have during the joint planning period?

Of course, this depends on where you are and which service package you book. Basically, I'm of the opinion that you need as much as you need. Some people need 1 - 2 more meetings, which ultimately depends on how the planning goes and whether there are any „unexpected“ issues (an additional service provider, unexpected delays at the location, etc.).

Do we have to be present at the consultation as a couple or is it enough if only one of us is present?

Absolutely always both of you. If there are additional „decision-makers“, such as another family member who is covering part of the costs, for example, then it would also be an advantage if he or she is present. Unfortunately, anything else makes little sense, as you then ultimately have to discuss everything again at home and the other person will never get the same impression as if he or she were able to put forward their questions directly.

How much time do we need to allow for the consultation?

1 - 1 1/2 hours

Do we need to prepare anything for the interview?

You are welcome to collect everything that has been planned or booked so far, but basically you don't have to prepare anything specific - I will ask you the relevant questions anyway so that I know at the end what the status is and what your idea looks like.
